notes:
1. The United States republican party is intermediate between the fascist position
and the non-ideological position.
2. The United States democratic party is intermediate between the theist socialist position
and the non-ideological position.
3. The communist dictatorships more closely fit the description of fascism or theocracy than
true socialism.
4. Note that the competitionist and libertraian socialist positions, though polar opposites,
both have the strongest preference for chaos over order. Likewise note that the theocratic
and precisionist positions, though polar opposites, both have the strongest preference for
order over chaos. The non-ideological type usually has a stronger preference for chaos
over order. Thus, there is a 'high-chaos axis' that spans from the competitionist position,
across through the non-ideological position, to the libertarian socialist position.
5. Positions on the issues of drugs, alcohol, immigration, and international trade are much
more variable than the others, and therefore have not yet been given specific position
listings. Positions on environmental issues are relatively similar across ideologies, and
therefore also have not yet been given specific position listings.
6. It must be noted that many different ideals can exist in the name of decentralized power,
which proponents often call 'freedom'. For example, an adult may desire to have the
power to educate their own children in any way that they want, and create a political
campaign with that platform, when in actuality they only desire decentralized power so
that they and other like-minded people can educate their children in a specific ideological
manner. In such cases, such decentralized power is only a compromise position, and not
the idealist's true desire.

The 9 ideological types:

1.
simple descriptive name: Non-Ideological
opposite ideology: (none; non-polar)
adjacent ideologies: all

positions on the issues:

Positions are variable, and revolve around that which benefits oneself personally.
For example, they favor minimized taxes and minimized business regulations if they
are rich, and they favor business regulations and socialist programs if they are poor.
If they are elderly, they want a large amount of money from the government for
medical expenses and otherwise. If they are in a racial minority, they want racial
quotas or unequal standards for colleges (what is called 'affirmative action'),
whereas if they are not in a racial minority, then they oppose such practices. On the
abortion issue, if they are females, they are strongly pro-choice, whereas if they are
males, they are only weakly pro-choice. They oppose forced nationalism and forced
religion when and only when it becomes a great inconvenience to them, such as in the
case of abortion. They are socially liberal in terms of censorship when said censorship
effects themselves. Etcetera.
